Sunday and it is summer again - 26c

Lovely day today, had some classes and now back home and preparing some pork spare ribs for dinner. Very happy with our house. GOing to develop our rooftop int our outdoor living area, over time, but it is quite nice up there and room for BBQ, garden and seating etc

Mei's son George (Shi Youguang) coming tonight to see new house

George is arriving from Beijing tonight to look at our new apartment, so that will be nice. We will probably have a bit of a function on Saturday night for him and his friends who helped us.

    Kiwifruit or Chinese Gooseberry

Watching the news this morning which had an article about farming in Sichuan, China where they had the big earthquake. Many farmers there grow Kiwifruit and refer to them as Kiwifruit which I thought sounded a bit incongrous seeing as we Kiwi's used to call them Chinese Gooseberries in New Zealand. Incidentally both New Zealand and Chinese Gooseberries/Kiwifruit are available here and are a popular fruit.
